Gareth Hughes joined MyLife in 2014 as a Warehouse Operative and one of the first members of our team. As the company grew, so did Gareth. Now our Warehouse Manager, Gareth oversees a team of 30, from drivers, order fulfilment to stock replenishment. He has witnessed first-hand the growth in Newry, from 10,000sq. ft. to 100,000sq ft of warehousing in the last 7 years, and has seriously stepped-up to the challenge.
“I have seen real progression in the company since I started. When I look back and see where it has come from and where it is going, it has been colossal”.
With more than 550 daily orders, Gareth has a big task on his hands assigning these customer orders to delivery routes across the UK & Ireland, as well as managing the maintenance of our 15-vehicle fleet.
Someone who is always the first to offer a helping hand, Gareth truly leads his team by an exceptional example. His commitment to the company and own personal self-development, has made him an invaluable asset to MyLife. As we work towards achieving our ISO standard, Gareth, and his team are driving forward our Health and Safety Standards, consistently enhancing ways-of-working and analysing equipment.
