Officially certified by PowerNI, we are now powered by local, renewable electricity with zero carbon emissions, sourced from the Teiges Mountain in Fermanagh.
This is one of the many significant steps towards improving our carbon footprint and creating a more sustainable future for everyone.
We also recycle all our cardboard and plastic wrapping, use electric-powered forklifts in our warehouse, and installed Quooker taps in our staff canteens to avoid unnecessary energy consumption on appliances, water waste and reduced need for plastic bottles.
Looking to the future, we are implementing a new delivery planning software to maximise delivery routes that will reduce our fuel use, and ultimately reduce our carbon footprint.
